Advocating for national Good Samaritan laws in China

Back to news

In October, the Red Cross Society of China, in partnership with the Global Road Safety Partnership, launched a seminal project advocating for the introduction of national Good Samaritan laws in China. Through the project, as part of the Bloomberg Philanthropies Global Road Safety Programme, the Red Cross Society of China will implement two activities in the remainder of this year:

  • develop a legislative proposal (based on international best practice) in partnership with the Law School of Beijing;
  • conduct a high level seminar with policy-makers to introduce the proposed recommendations.

We will provide updates on progress in future newsletters and online.

Together we can save millions of lives.
