Nestlé Mexico recognised for life-saving achievements at Fleet Safety Forum Awards

At the end of 2011, the Global Road Safety Partnership welcomed Nestlé as a new member. “At Nestlé we believe one accident is one too many”, explained Andrew Bradley, head of Group Risk Services as they joined GRSP. Nestlé has been working hard to live up to this philosophy, and efforts have certainly paid off. On 14 June, Nestle Mexico and Interactive Driving Systems received the Fleet Safety Partnership Award.

The award was given during the 10th annual Fleet Safety Forum Awards for Excellence, which is hosted by the Fleet Safety Forum, a division of the road safety charity, Brake, and sponsored by the fleet and fuel management company, Arval. Winners were selected from almost 70 entries across the 10 categories.

“The Fleet Safety Forum Awards are all about recognising hard work, innovation and achievement in fleet safety, and they are a valuable way for us to review and share good practice. Throughout the coming year, we will be disseminating case studies on our winners through the Fleet Safety Forum, to inspire and assist other organizations to do more to drive down crashes and casualties,” explained Julie Townsend, deputy chief executive at Brake.
