Round 26 Now Open

Safe Road Users, Safe Vehicles, and Safe Roads

The Global Road Safety Partnership is pleased to announce the launch of the Round 26 Call for Proposals under the Road Safety Grants Programme. In Round 26, GRSP will accept applications for Safe System aligned infrastructure policy and regulatory reform in addition to behavioural risk factors and vehicle safety standards from eligible countries. Please carefully read the call for proposals to determine if you are eligible before you apply.

Applicants who are not current GRSP grantees must submit a concept note, while existing grantees may submit full proposals. All existing grantees must contact their GRSP focal persons before submitting a grant application. After you log in to our on-line system, select the following:

Concept Note (For new applicants)

  • Please select CN Safe Road Users RD26 if your Concept Note focuses on one of the following:
    • Road Safety Behavioural Risk Factors
    • Laws and Secondary Regulations Covering Road Safety and Vehicle Safety Provisions
  • Please select CN Safe Vehicles_RD26 if your Concept Note primarily focuses on Vehicle Safety
  • Please select CN Safe Roads_RD26 if your Concept Note primarily focuses on Safe System aligned infrastructure policy

Full Proposal (For active GRSP grantees only)

  • Please select Safe Road Users FP_RD26 if your Full Proposal focuses on one of the following:
    • Road Safety Behavioural Risk Factors
    • Laws and Secondary Regulations Covering Road Safety and Vehicle Safety Provisions
  • Please select Safe Vehicles FP_RD26 if your full proposal primarily focuses on Vehicle Safety
  • Please select Safer Roads_RD26 if your Full Proposal primarily focuses on Safe System aligned infrastructure policy

Call for proposals

Before you log on to our on-line system to prepare and submit your concept note, we recommend that you read the important additional information provided below.

Deadline

The deadline for submission of completed applications is 27 August 2026 at 14:00 Central European Time (CET)Applications must be submitted through our on-line system (https://grsp.flexigrant.comand any received after the deadline will not be accepted. Your application must be 100% complete and you must click on the “Submit Application” button. If you do not receive a confirmation email from the system please contact us at rsgrants.grsp@ifrc.org.

Additional Information

Only applications submitted in English will be considered.

Applicants may submit more than one project concept note for funding consideration.

Applicant organizations with successful concept notes will be requested to prepare and
submit a full proposal to be evaluated for funding.

You will be informed if your concept note has been selected for advancement by 15 October 2026.

New and Return Applicants

First time applicants must register on the system as per instructions.

Returning applicants should use the same email address to log in to the system while new applicants must register on the system prior to completing the concept note application.
