The results of this test were key to define a permanent infrastructure redesign.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cp-timeline-content-timeline-block-child swiper-slide\"><div class=\"timeline-content icon-false \"><div class=\"timeline-block-timeline ctl-row  position-right\"><div class=\"ctl-6 timeline-block-time\"><div class=\"story-time\"><p>November, 2019<\/p><\/div><\/div><div class=\"timeline-block-icon\"><svg stroke=\"currentColor\" fill=\"currentColor\" stroke-width=\"0\" viewBox=\"0 0 512 512\" height=\"1em\" width=\"1em\" xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\"><path d=\"M256 8C119 8 8 119 8 256s111 248 248 248 248-111 248-248S393 8 256 8z\"><\/path><\/svg><\/div><div class=\"ctl-6 timeline-block-detail\"><div class=\"story-details\"><div class=\"story-content\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading ctlb-block-title\" style=\"padding-top:0px;padding-right:0px;padding-bottom:0px;padding-left:0px\"><strong>Publication of a State Regulation of Road Safety<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ctlb-block-desc\" style=\"padding-top:0px;padding-right:0px;padding-bottom:0px;padding-left:0px\">This regulation establishes new speed limits state-wide, defining a maximum speed limit of 20 km\/h, around urban equipment\u2019s such as schools, parks, and hospitals.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cp-timeline-content-timeline-block-child swiper-slide\"><div class=\"timeline-content icon-false \"><div class=\"timeline-block-timeline ctl-row  position-left\"><div class=\"ctl-6 timeline-block-time\"><div class=\"story-time\"><p>January, 2020<\/p><\/div><\/div><div class=\"timeline-block-icon\"><svg stroke=\"currentColor\" fill=\"currentColor\" stroke-width=\"0\" viewBox=\"0 0 512 512\" height=\"1em\" width=\"1em\" xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\"><path d=\"M256 8C119 8 8 119 8 256s111 248 248 248 248-111 248-248S393 8 256 8z\"><\/path><\/svg><\/div><div class=\"ctl-6 timeline-block-detail\"><div class=\"story-details\"><div class=\"story-content\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading ctlb-block-title\" style=\"padding-top:0px;padding-right:0px;padding-bottom:0px;padding-left:0px\"><strong>Infrastructure intervention<\/strong> <strong>in one of the city&#8217;s riskiest school environments<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ctlb-block-desc\" style=\"padding-top:0px;padding-right:0px;padding-bottom:0px;padding-left:0px\">Through the diagnosis, the school zone where 1 out of every 3 road traffic crashes occurred during school start and end times was identified, where no motorist respected the 20 km\/h speed limit and where more than 2,500 students attend. The intervention consisted of the construction of a speed humps, curb extensions, sidewalks, and placement of signals. The workshop focused on conveying to the agents the importance of surveillance and control in road safety and sharing knowledge regarding good practices of the \u2018Safe System\u2019 approach. Additionally, it also showed different technologies and methods for speed surveillance and control, as well as identifying contextual elements according to each environment, all in order to install technical capacities in the police to achieve measurable results in terms of public health by preventing deaths and injuries caused by road traffic crashes.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cp-timeline-content-timeline-block-child swiper-slide timeline-background\"><div class=\"timeline-content icon-false \"><div class=\"timeline-block-timeline ctl-row  position-right\"><div class=\"ctl-6 timeline-block-time\"><div class=\"story-time\"><p>October, 2022<\/p><\/div><\/div><div class=\"timeline-block-icon\"><svg stroke=\"currentColor\" fill=\"currentColor\" stroke-width=\"0\" viewBox=\"0 0 512 512\" height=\"1em\" width=\"1em\" xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\"><path d=\"M256 8C119 8 8 119 8 256s111 248 248 248 248-111 248-248S393 8 256 8z\"><\/path><\/svg><\/div><div class=\"ctl-6 timeline-block-detail\"><div class=\"story-details\"><div class=\"story-content\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading ctlb-block-title\" style=\"padding-top:0px;padding-right:0px;padding-bottom:0px;padding-left:0px\"><strong>Launch of SIMOS<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ctlb-block-desc\" style=\"padding-top:0px;padding-right:0px;padding-bottom:0px;padding-left:0px\">Development and launch of the integrated system of safe mobility- SIMOS.
